There are hundreds of different health insurance plans, each of which offers many different varieties of coverage.  For this reason, it is not possible for us to know exactly what coverage you have.
It is your responsibility to contact your insurance company about coverage. 

 If we do not have a contract with your particular insurer, we will submit a claim to them as a courtesy to you. 
Whether your insurer will cover the claim is beyond our control.

 If you have a procedure performed, your bill may include up to four components:

          -a professional fee, which is the doctor's payment for doing the procedure

          -a facility fee, which covers the costs of operating the endoscopy center

          -an anesthesia fee, for the services of the anesthetist

          -a  pathology charge, for the microscopic examination of any  biopsies

 The anesthetist is an independent contractor, not employed by us, using a separate billing service.  We have no control over anesthetist fees.

 Carroll County Gastroenterology and Carroll County Endoscopy Center are independent entities.  We are not owned or employed by Huggins Hospital, and are not bound by any of their financial policies.

 When you contact your insurer, please make sure they understand that your procedure is being performed in an ambulatory surgery center, not the hospital.
